D Driver Training
D Driver is Move Over Montana’s interactive student safety presentation highlighting the five most common causes of serious crashes, with a strong emphasis on drunk and distracted driving, along with drowsy, drugged, and dangerous decision-making behind the wheel.
Led by a veteran Montana fire service professional and EMT with over 30 years of experience, this 90-minute program uses real stories from rural highways and small communities to show students the real-world consequences of unsafe driving, without graphic images or videos.
The presentation also covers Montana’s Move Over Laws and features a powerful segment on seatbelts and airbags, helping young drivers make smarter choices before a single mistake becomes a lifelong tragedy.
Public Education Event
TBD
This public education event focuses on raising awareness of Montana’s Move Over Law and the critical role drivers play in keeping first responders, tow operators, highway workers, and emergency personnel safe on our roadways. Through engaging conversations and real-world examples, attendees learned when the law applies, what drivers are required to do, and why slowing down and moving over truly saves lives.
